Join us at The University of Texas for an exciting symposium exploring conflict and discovering effective resolution at all levels, from the personal to the international. Come for the whole program June 10-23, or come for either week, June 10-16 or 17-23. Events and speakers are different each week. Experienced professionals and distinguished faculty of the University of Texas will take you through critical and creative processes to acquire ethical and creative problem-solving strategies, conflict analysis methods, negotiation skills and much more. We’ll apply what we learn to mediating international negotiations and to running a meeting at school, so you can connect what you learn. Here are some campers chatting:

Meet musicians, film-makers and politicians. Take a moonlight tour of the University of Texas campus. Explore the role of art as a means of social critique and as communicators of cultural values. Check out images of allegorical, religious, and royal weddings as models for the ideal marriage. Listen to songs that have inspired warriors and war protestors. Debate the consequences of the US civil rights movement and the international human rights movement.
Topics to be explored: Negotiation Theory; Music and Art of Peace; A Devoted and Dynamic Family; Safety and School; Race, Ethnicity and Community; Civil Rights, Human Rights, and Individual Responsibility; Current Events; Public Policy and National Identity.
